House Doctor Autumn Winter 2013

House Doctor will launch their new Moments Autumn Winter Collection in August and this is a small sneak peak into to the new collection. The combination of blond wood, copper, brass and stone gives your interior a harmonious and unique look. Maybe a bit more modern and Scandinavian and less industrial compared to the previous collections. Wish you like them too!

What a beautiful apparment found in bo-laget.se. I really like the combination of black and white and the wooden accents and green plants in this cosy appartment. Unfortunately I dont have a green thumb so my plants never look so good or last long!

Get the look: to achieve the look of this calm bedroom above you could use for example the linen duvets from Balmuir and a simple black & white print and some green plants. Easy and simple!

One of the blogs that I visit often is the blog of Krista Keltanen. She is a finnish photographer and the blog is filled with beautifull and inspring pictures. The photo above is from a finnish home she photographed and I really like the feeling and style of this home. Kalklitir

What gorgeus paints and shades from Icelandic Kalklitir. I fell in love in their lime paints as soon as I saw these pictures and I'm thinking seriosly painting one of our bedroom walls with this paint, just need to decide the shade!

Kalklitir is founded by Audur Skuladottir with her husband Hjortur. Audur has studied decorative painting in Denmark and learnt how to produce various methods of paints, such as lime paint and egg tempera. She runs now their the family business Kalklitir that produces her own line of lime paint in beautiful shades of gray, brown and neutral. Lime paint is a mineral based environmental-friendly paint, free of artificial resins, solvents and biocides and it is so easy to use. Just mix it with water and you are set to go.

I'll be receiving soon some color samples from Kalklitir and will share them here, these paints will be available later also in the shop. If you want any more information, just ask!

One of my absolutely favourite products in the shop is Tablo table from Normann Copenhagen. I picked these photos because they will show how versatile this small table is. You can use it as a side table in the kitchen, in the living room or also in the bedroom. The simple shade and neutral colours gives an endless oppurtunities to use Tablo.

White Kitchen - Before and After

This kitchen was before empty and a bit sad. All the furniture is white and minimalist and the kitchen is missing some colour and contrast.

And this is how the kitchen looks after with new styles and colour. The owners did not change much but an important pendant light, colourfull ceramics and few new pieces made the kitchen look much more inviting. Maybe you will get some ideas from this if you are planning to change the look of your kitchen!
